Job summary

Metro Tiles Inc. seeks an on-site IT Specialist in Quezon City to provide end-user support, manage servers and networks, and maintain cybersecurity measures. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS and at least 3 years of IT experience, with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

You will implement backups, create user guides, and assist in asset documentation to ensure availability and security of IT resources. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years in IT support, systems administration, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking and IT troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows, Office 365 and common business applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.
• Administer and maintain servers, databases, and applications for availability, security, and performance.
• Monitor and maintain the LAN and internet connectivity.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals and software.
• Implement cybersecurity measures to safeguard data, systems, and networks.
• Assist in managing user access controls and data security protocols.
• Manage data backups and test disaster recovery plans; ensure data integrity.
• Maintain documentation of IT assets, configurations and procedures.
• Create user guides and documentation for common technical issues.
• Conduct security audits and system backups regularly.
• Recommend upgrades to enhance IT infrastructure and processes.
• Schedule periodic maintenance for hardware and software.
• Conduct training sessions for employees on IT best practices.
