Job summary

Stefanini North America and APAC is seeking a Systems Operations System Lead to drive Operational Excellence across a group of systems and applications. You will ensure compliance with client standards, maintain lifecycle docs, and coordinate patches with IT Infrastructure and vendors.

The role includes disaster recovery testing, incident/change/knowledge management, and coordinating backups, monitoring and archiving. Strong English communication and ITIL background are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as System Lead or similar.
• Understanding of hardware, software, networking and databases.
• Experience in IT technical support or similar role.
• Experience in regulated environments is a plus.
• Experience in multicultural environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of ITIL fundamentals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining/creating compliance or system lifecycle documentation.
• Coordinating server and database patches.
• Disaster recovery testing and incident/change/knowledge management.
• Collaboration with IT Infrastructure and vendors to address vulnerabilities.

Job Description

The Systems Operations System Lead will be responsible for the Operational Excellence of a group of systems/applications, performing the standard operational tasks to keep the system compliant with the client's standards.

Tasks Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Maintaining/Creating Compliance or System Lifecycle documentation
• Working with IT Infrastructure to remediate replace migrate or decommission legacy systems or infrastructure items
• Working with Software Vendors/Providers to solve possible application vulnerabilities
• Coordinating (but not performing) server and database patches
• Performing Disaster Recovery Testing
• Performing, Problem, Change and Knowledge Management
• Coordinating and scheduling backup/recovery and System Monitoring
• Coordinating software management
• Small enhancements/configuration changes to software
• Overseeing Knowledge Transfer, Shadowing, Reverse Shadowing during the transition of systems
• Interfacing/Coordinate with multiple areas of the business and IT (Functional Areas & Infrastructure)
• Collecting & Processing Demands from Business Users
• Access & identity monitoring
• Audit trail monitoring
• Coordinating System Archiving
• Decommissioning (Retiring) systems

Experience

• 2+ years working as System Lead or Similar
• Good General understanding of assigned application and system lead support service tasks
• Understanding and experience working with hardware, software, networking and databases.
• Proven work experience in an IT technical support or similar role
• Experience working in a regulated environment is a plus
• Experience working in a multicultural diverse environment
