Job summary

IT by Design Philippines Inc. is seeking an L2 IT Support Engineer to troubleshoot and resolve complex user, systems, and networking issues across multiple client environments. The role targets experienced MSP engineers who enjoy deeper technical challenges beyond routine service desk tasks.

You will provide L2 support for Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and network infrastructure, while documenting solutions and contributing to automation to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, NOC, or MSP.
• Strong Windows and Microsoft environment experience.
• Active Directory / LDAP knowledge.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi.
• Experience with firewalls and network troubleshooting.
• Microsoft 365 / Office experience.
• Familiarity with RMM and ticketing platforms.
• PowerShell/scripting knowledge is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 technical support across multiple client environments
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and network issues
• Support DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and connectivity issues
• Troubleshoot network hardware and infrastructure
• Support firewall and security-related issues
• Perform system administration and user administration
• Monitor client environments and respond to alerts
• Assist with OS upgrades, patching, deployments, and application support
• Use scripting/automation to improve repetitive IT tasks
• Document systems, procedures, and troubleshooting solutions
