Job summary

Questronix Corporation 2 in Ortigas is seeking an IT Support Specialist to install, configure, and maintain end-user devices, desktops, laptops, printers, and mobility devices, and to support branch deployment.

The role requires 1–3 years in IT support, Windows 10/11 experience, endpoint security familiarity, and willingness to travel to branches; onsite work at Ortigas is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years in IT support, desktop support, or field technical support.
• Experience with OS installation, migration, and configuration (Windows 10/11).
• Familiarity with endpoint security software installation and management.
• Basic networking knowledge: LAN, Wi‑Fi, IP configuration, AP setup.
• Experience with IT asset inventory, tagging, and documentation.
• Willingness to travel to branch locations.
• Can work onsite at Ortigas.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure applications, operating systems, and end-user devices (desktops, laptops, printers, mobility devices).
• Perform preventive maintenance of IT equipment, including hardware inspection and software updates.
• Support branch device deployments, including setup, asset tagging, and verification of readiness.
• Conduct physical IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues (internet and Wi‑Fi).
• Assist users with data backups and verify file storage on platforms like Google Drive.
• Install and configure network devices such as access points for optimal coverage.
• Perform OS migrations (Windows 10 to 11) and assist with security software migrations.
• Groom data cabinets and manage network equipment and cabling.
• Receive, document, and manage IT equipment deliveries with proper tagging and inventory updates.

• Conduct preventive maintenance of IT equipment including hardware inspection, software updates, and internal cleaning of computers and data racks.
• Support branch device deployment activities including setup, configuration, asset tagging, and verification of device readiness.
• Perform physical inventory checking of IT assets including laptops, desktops, printers, and mobility devices to ensure proper documentation and condition monitoring.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues including internet access, Wi-Fi connectivity, and device performance evaluation.
• Assist users in performing data backup procedures and verifying file storage in approved platforms such as Google Drive.
• Install and configure network devices such as access points and ensure proper placement for optimal signal coverage.
• Perform operating system migrations (e.g., Windows 10 to Windows 11) and support security software migrations such as endpoint protection solutions.
• Conduct data cabinet grooming and ensure proper arrangement and management of network equipment and cabling.
• Receive, document, and manage IT equipment deliveries ensuring proper asset tagging and inventory updates.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related course.
• At least 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or field technical support roles.
• Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Experience in operating system installation, migration, and configuration (Windows 10 / Windows 11).
• Familiarity with endpoint security software installation and management.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts including LAN, Wi-Fi connectivity, IP configuration, and access point setup.
• Experience performing IT asset inventory, tagging, and documentation.
• Ability to perform onsite and branch deployment activities including device setup and configuration.
• Good communication and user-support skills for assisting employees with IT-related concerns.
• Willing to travel to branch locations for deployment and maintenance activities.
