Job summary
Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking an IT Specialist to support users, administer Microsoft 365 and cloud environments, and contribute to security and compliance initiatives. Responsibilities include frontline IT support, managing Windows devices, and assisting with Azure, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Experience in project management is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide frontline technical support for end users across hardware, software, and cloud services.
- Troubleshoot Windows systems, printers, mobile devices, and business applications.
- Support user onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning and access control.
- Administer SharePoint Online environments and OneDrive governance.

Required
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- At least 2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration
- Previous experience in project management
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
- Basic understanding of Azure and cloud fundamentals
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with website design tools or basic HTML and CSS
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Hospitality systems experience is an advantage
Preferred
- Experience creating or managing Microsoft Copilot for Business agents
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro forms and workflows
- Exposure to PCI DSS, GDPR, or other IT compliance frameworks
- Basic scripting knowledge, preferably in PowerShell
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) certification
- Customer-focused approach to technical support
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Effective prioritization and multitasking skills
- Eagerness to learn emerging technologies, particularly AI tools and cloud platforms
IT Support and Operations
- Provide frontline technical support for end users across hardware, software, and cloud services
- Troubleshoot Windows systems, printers, mobile devices, and business applications
- Support user onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning and access control
Microsoft 365 Administration
- Support and maintain SharePoint Online environments, including permissions, site structures, and content
- Administer OneDrive storage, sharing controls, and data governance
- Assist with Microsoft Copilot for Business deployments, including the creation and management of AI agents and workflows
- Monitor and maintain Microsoft 365 security and compliance settings
Cloud and Infrastructure
- Assist with Azure administration, including user identities, basic resource management, and policies
