Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to manage and maintain SAP systems, ensuring stability of the technical environment and alignment with business needs.

You will handle transports, upgrades, sizing, OS/DB integrations, HANA administration, on-call support, and collaboration with OS/DB teams to optimize performance and security in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as SAP Basis Administrator or related role.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP technical environment, configurations, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Execute SAP transport scheduling and operations.
• Handle implementations, upgrades, migrations, sizing, and landscape design on OS & DB platforms including SAP HANA.
• Provide on-call support and collaborate with internal teams on projects.
• Work with OS & DB Administrators for SAP performance, database security, and administration.
• Manage system performance, CTS/TMS transport management, and patching.

About The Job

The IT SAP Basis Administrator role ensures delivering the business needs by administering and maintaining SAP systems to ensure technical environment stability.

What You Will Do

• Manage the SAP technical environment, covering configurations, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Execute SAP transport system scheduling and operations.
• Handle implementations, upgrades, migrations, hardware sizing, and landscape design on diverse OS & DB platforms, including SAP HANA.
• Provide occasional on-call support and collaborate with internal teams for consultation and project execution.
• Work closely with OS & DB Administrators for optimal SAP performance, database administration, and security.
• Manage system performance, corrections, and transport management (CTS/TMS).
• Perform technical upgrades, enhancements, and installations of SAP and related software products.
• Administer HANA database, including patch and service stack upgrades, database tuning, and backups.
• Configure connections to partner systems and install adapters provided by SAP and external partners.
• Administer UNIX and Windows-based servers running SAP modules (FI/HR/SRM/Portal, Fiori, Hana).
• Conduct daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning of all SAP systems.

What You Need To Have

• More than 3 years experience as SAP Basis Administrator or related position
• Technical knowledge in SAP platform on the following:
  • Performance Monitoring and Tuning
  • Solution Manager configuration and utilization
  • Transport Management
  • System Client copy, refresh, license management
  • Security parameter management
  • Configuration of SAP Routers
  • SAP Traces and logs
  • Workload balancing
  • SAP Correction, Job Maintenance, Backup, SA Kernel maintenance, patching maintenance
  • SAP Data administration
• Technical knowledge on the following SAP ABAP programming language and related platforms – S/4 HANA, SAP NetWeaver, SAP Cloud, PI/PO, SAP RFC is an advantage
