Job summary

Nityo Infotech Services Philippines Inc. is seeking a Junior Software Tester for an onsite role in Makati. The candidate will contribute to software testing activities, participate in defect lifecycle, and support testing processes across SIT, UAT, and regression cycles.

Day shift, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and collaboration. Requirements include a degree in IT/CS/Business Technology and at least 1 year of testing experience; ISTQB CTFL is preferred or obtainable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in software testing.
• ISTQB CTFL certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 1 year of employment.
• Basic knowledge of SDLC and Defect Management.
• Exposure to financial or payment systems is an advantage.
• Experience with SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, Bug Life Cycle, Test Processes and Workflows.
• Knowledge of defect reporting, test environment usage, test documentation, and basic test automation.
• Strong business orientation, execution excellence, learning agility, collaboration, resiliency, customer orientation, ethical propensity, self-development, and innovative thinking.
