Qualifications

• Experience: 2–3 years of direct project management handling software rollouts, integrations, or migrations.
• Testing lifecycle: design, staging, and management of beta tests, pilot programs or UAT cycles.
• SDLC familiarity and deployment pipelines, including core CI/CD concepts.
• Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall frameworks.
• Hands-on with project management and issue-tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or MS Project.
• Ability to define scope, deliverables, timelines, risks, and Go/No-Go criteria.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an IT Project Manager to orchestrate the lifecycle of software solution deployments, bridging the gap between development teams and end-users. This role focuses on planning, coordinating, and executing software rollouts, application integrations, and platform migrations.

A central responsibility of this position is staging and executing user beta test processes—including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), pilot programs, feedback collection, issue triage, and deployment readiness reviews. You will ensure that new software solutions are rigorously tested in real-world scenarios, refined based on end-user feedback, and deployed seamlessly across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate brings direct project management experience handling software deployments, strong familiarity with rollout and testing processes, and an exceptional ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across development, QA, infrastructure, business units, and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Rollout Management

• Project Lifecycle: Plan, execute, and finalize software deployment projects according to strict deadlines and within budget parameters.
• Scope Definition: Define project scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables in close collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate cross-functional teams—including development, QA, infrastructure, and business units—to manage smooth transitions from staging to production environments.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify deployment risks, implement mitigation strategies, and manage bottlenecks across the project lifecycle.
• Readiness Reviews: Facilitate formal deployment readiness reviews and lead Go/No-Go meetings with key decision-makers.

Beta Testing & User Acceptance

• Testing Strategy: Design and execute comprehensive beta testing phases, including structured User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and targeted pilot programs prior to enterprise-wide rollouts.
• Cohort Selection: Identify, select, and onboard representative beta cohorts that mirror the broader end-user base.
• Feedback Channels: Establish structured feedback mechanisms for beta testers to report bugs, user experience (UX) friction, and feature requests.
• Triage & Patching: Triage incoming user feedback, categorize issues by severity, and collaborate directly with engineering teams to deploy patches prior to general availability.
• Requirement Translation: Translate subjective user feedback into actionable technical requirements and bug tickets.

Stakeholder Alignment & Reporting

• Status Reporting: Deliver clear, concise project status reports highlighting milestones achieved, risk factors, and actionable beta testing insights.
• Cross-Team Alignment: Maintain active communication across both technical teams and non-technical business units to align expectations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of direct project management experience specifically handling software rollouts, application integrations, or platform migrations.
• Testing Lifecycle: Proven track record designing, staging, and managing user beta tests, pilot programs, or UAT cycles.
• Technical Familiarity: Deep familiarity with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and deployment pipelines, including core CI/CD concepts.
• Methodologies: Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management frameworks.
• Tooling: Hands-on proficiency with project management and issue-tracking platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, or Microsoft Project).
• Scope & Risk Management: Demonstrated ability to define project boundaries, deliverables, timelines, risk registers, and Go/No-Go readiness criteria.
