Job summary

Beep is seeking an IT Operations Associate to drive full delivery of the unit’s plans for network, server, database, and related services. You will allocate resources to requests, monitor SLAs, and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure timely service delivery.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, documentation, and the ability to work flexible hours, including on-call and after-hours maintenance. Experience with Nagios/PRTG is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of IT / Computer Science / Computer Engineering.
• Cisco/IBM management, Network, ITIL, Database/Server Management certifications are a plus.
• Windows and Linux operating systems administration.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and analyzes network devices and servers using Nagios/PRTG.
• Notifies maintenance teams and ensures device availability after issues.
• Monitors EOD status and rectifies critical processing failures.
• Ensures stability of backend services (NAV, Email, SharePoint, AWS, etc.).
• Creates and maintains technical documentation.
• Coordinates with PDDEV, BD, RSD, HR and others.
• Prepares KPI reports for Rail, including accuracy checks.
• Tests Rail software (POS, GATE, TVM) and assists deployment.
• Handles IT requests and on-call duties; participates in special projects.

Position Summary

The role of the IT Operations Associate is responsible for the full delivery and implementation of the unit’s plans (Network Operating Center, Server, Database and Network). This position requires delivery of work and allocating resources to requests so they serviced within agreed Service Level Agreements. This role requires high coordination with other teams to deliver the service, balance resources based on demand, manage vendors, and perform operational reporting. This role functions to serve a shared service unit for Rail & Non-Rail.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Monitors and analyze network devices within MSE office, servers hosted at data center and across the lines using Nagios and PRTG.
2. Devices from Rail, informs the maintenance team on the field on the status of the device. Continuously monitors the device until maintenance advises the device availability has been restored.
3. Monitors EOD (Clearing House Settlement) status and to immediately notify and rectify critical processing failures.
4. Monitors stability of the Backend Application services both AFPI Office (e.g., NAV, Email, SharePoint), Rail (L1, L2, L3 and L4 environment) and non-rail systems (Beejees, RAI and AWS cloud environment)
5. Create and maintain technical documentations.
6. Communication and collaboration with different teams (e.g. PDDEV, BD, RSD, HR and etc).
7. Preparation and submission of accurate of KPI 1,8 and 9 for Rail reports (C.A adherence).
8. Conduct testing for RAIL software application such as POS, GATE and TVM apps and assist deployment.
9. Attend Office users IT related request.
10. Ability to work flexible hours including on call and after hours work for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
