Job summary

Cooee Inc. is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux server fleets, desktops, and network infra in Iloilo City. You will enable virtualization, cloud administration, security hardening, and automation to uphold high uptime.

You will work on enterprise services, audit network configurations, and provide Tier-3 support while collaborating with department heads. Proficiency with Proxmox, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern identity systems is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years managing high-uptime IT platforms or corporate server infra.
• Solid understanding of modern OS, cloud networks, routing policies and VLANs.
• Experience with virtualization, automation, and security hardening.

• Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of modern operating systems, cloud-hybrid networks, routing fabrics, and switching environments.

About the Role

We have partnered with a telecoms systems, infrastructure and network provider on a mission to developinnovative systems and software that make the impossible possible. As an IT Systems Administrator, you will
be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and network infrastructure,ensuring seamless operations across Windows and Linux servers. This role requires a strong understanding ofvirtualization, cloud-based administration, network security, and automation.

What you'll be working on:

• Provision, configure, lifecycle-manage, and troubleshoot enterprise Windows and Linux server fleets alongside workplace desktops.

• Proactively monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, eliminating networking, software, and access blind spots.

• Harden infrastructure security postures through programmatic software updates, system patches, and risk-mitigation tasks.

• Orchestrate systematic updates and software deployments across the entire desktop and server fleet.

• Design, manage, and continuously audit network configurations, including internal routing paths and switches.

• Deliver Tier-3 technical support, acting as a trusted infrastructure consultant for departmental heads and internal staff.

• Assist with department-level data integrations, diagnosing and engineering fixes for system communication issues.

• Administer corporate identity and productivity ecosystems, ensuring seamless workflows inside Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.

• Scale and maintain hypervisor and container environments built around Proxmox, Kubernetes, and Docker solutions.

• Supervise enterprise directories, overseeing domain authentication and access mappings in Active Directory and LDAP.

• Maintain and scale open-source VoIP communication channels utilizing Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, and Kamailio solutions.

• Develop programmatic automation scripts via Bash and Python to improve overall system reliability and speed.

• Deploy, configure, and maintain high-availability web services hosted on Apache and Nginx web servers.

• Create, update, and manage standard operating procedures and technical architecture charts for the infrastructure stack.

What we're looking for:

• Systems & Infrastructure: 3–5 years managing high-uptime IT platforms, corporate server infrastructure, or active technical setups.

• Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of network topologies, enterprise OS logic, routing policies, and VLAN switching.

• Cloud Administration: Practical insight into administering and securing modern cloud services and enterprise endpoints.

• Linux Administration: Experienced in standing up and maintaining Linux-based servers (RedHat and Debian derivatives).

• Virtualization & Containers: Solid experience deploying and debugging clusters within Proxmox, Docker, and Kubernetes frameworks.

• Directory Services: Proven understanding of identity governance utilizing Active Directory and LDAP protocols.

• Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace: Proficiency in managing organizational tenants, access controls, and collaborative tools.

• VoIP Systems: Hands-on exposure to configuring or troubleshooting Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, or Kamailio communications.

• Scripting & Automation: Competence in writing clean Bash or Python code to automate infrastructure and repetitive system duties.

• Web Servers: Practical experience initializing, routing, and maintaining Nginx and Apache instances.

• Troubleshooting: Elite analytical skills to quickly isolate root causes behind complex performance or infrastructure failures.

• Communication: Strong writing and verbal communication skills, crucial for building team wikis and assisting technical users.

• Time Management: Exceptional self-management to drive infrastructure stability while responding calmly to time-sensitive tickets.
