Job summary

dnata Travel Inc. is seeking an experienced automation developer to build and deploy bots and automation workflows across enterprise applications. You will work closely with Emirates Group IT and cyber experts to ensure secure, scalable automation aligned with group standards.

You will implement automation using UiPath, Power Automate, and Automation Anywhere, while exploring AI-enabled capabilities to evolve rule-based workflows into intelligent, adaptive processes.

• 3 years of hands-on automation development experience.

Summary

This role requires hands‑on development expertise with automation tools, working closely with dnata business functions, Emirates Group IT (EGIT), and cyber experts (CSOC and MSP) to ensure automation pathways are secure, sustainable, and aligned with group standards. Contribute to the evolution of automation towards AI‑driven intelligence, leveraging machine learning and cognitive automation to enable smarter workflows and predictive efficiencies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and deploy automation flows and bots using enterprise automation tools with one or more of the following: UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, or equivalent).
• Translate business requirements into secure technical automation solutions that improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Engage with business functions to identify automation opportunities in day‑to‑day processes (e.g., approvals, reporting, reconciliation, rostering, communication workflows).
• Work across different departments to assess efficiency gaps and design automation pathways.
• Define and maintain an automation roadmap with clear priorities.
• Understand high‑level system architectures and how automation fits in.
• Work with databases, connectors, services (including microservices), and APIs to design robust automation solutions.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure automations are integrated properly and follow enterprise design principles.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business value, dependencies, and readiness.
• Ensure alignment with audit guidelines.
• Explore and pilot AI‑enabled automation capabilities (e.g., NLP, predictive decisioning, generative automation) to progressively move from rule‑based workflows to intelligent, adaptive solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in IT or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in automation development.
• Background in Airlines, Ground Services, Cargo, Logistics, or related sectors is beneficial but not required.
• Proven expertise in designing, building, and deploying bots and automation workflows.
• Understands system architecture, databases, connectors, APIs, microservices, and services.
• Ability to manage tasks, set priorities, and handle dependencies.
