Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment.
• Carry out network design and implementation.
• Monitor network performance.
• Do maintenance and updates/upgrades on network equipment.
• Troubleshoot Network Infrastructure issues.
• Provide technical support to end users, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
• Diagnose problems, implement solutions, and escalate as necessary.
• Maintain documentation of common problems and solutions.
• Maintain service level agreements (SLA).
• Handle routine system maintenance (network/software/PBX)
• Participate in backup testing, business continuity, and recovery drills.
• Monitor, analyze, and diagnose various network equipment through monitoring and management tools.
• Log ticket issues and document relevant information to come up with a resolution.
• Work with Security and Compliance to ensure IT infrastructure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with other teams – Corporate Connectivity, Managed Services, Engineering, Security, and Compliance.
• Help identify opportunities for process improvement, recommendations, upgrades, or new technologies.
• Able to stay current with industry trends and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• IT / Computer Science-related degree or certification.
• Hardware: Knowledge of servers, workstations, storage systems, and peripheral devices.
• Proficient in configuring, deploying, and maintaining core network infrastructure, routers, switches, VPN, VLAN, and dynamic routing protocols.
• Preferably with a background in virtualization: Experience with VMware, Hyper‑V, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge in Mikrotik, Tailscale and Netskope is a plus.
• Monitoring and management tools (e.g., Zabbix/Nagios).
• Preferred experience with diverse IT ticketing platforms (JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.)
• Preferred background in backup and recovery solutions.
• Active Directory and identity management.
• Preferred background with PBX systems (Mitel, Switchvox, Asterisk)
