Job summary

Ubiquity Media in Manila is seeking an IT Specialist with e-commerce and AI experience to manage stores, coding tasks, AI tools, IT support, and analytics.

The ideal candidate works across platforms, troubleshoots independently, and implements and optimizes tracking and e-commerce requirements to drive business outcomes.

Duties include maintaining Shopify stores, implementing GA4/GTMs, and providing first‑level IT support while coordinating with external developers when needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Shopify themes, apps, settings and integrations.
• Ability to troubleshoot website, checkout, product, app and integration issues.
• Experience using AI tools to automate workflows and support business operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain e-commerce stores, including themes, apps, settings, and integrations.
• Perform basic to intermediate HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, and other relevant coding for Shopify customization.
• Troubleshoot website, checkout, product, app, and integration issues.
• Implement website improvements and support e-commerce optimization.
• Coordinate with external developers or agencies for advanced support.
• Set up and maintain GA4 events and conversions.
• Configure and manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) and website tracking tags.
• Set up tracking for product views, add to cart, checkout, purchases, leads, and other KPIs.
• Maintain ad channel tracking tags and UTM parameters.
• Ensure tracking is connected across advertising platforms and analytics tools.
• Monitor data accuracy and troubleshoot discrepancies between Shopify, GA, ads, and other systems.
• Create and maintain documentation for tracking setups and KPI definitions.

The ideal candidate is technically capable, comfortable working across multiple platforms, and able to independently troubleshoot, implement, and optimize e-commerce and tracking requirements

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and maintain e-commerce stores, including themes, apps, settings, and integrations.
• Perform basic to intermediate HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, and other relevant coding for Shopify customization.
• Troubleshoot website, checkout, product, app, and integration issues.
• Implement website improvements and support e-commerce optimization.
• Coordinate with external developers or agencies when advanced technical support is required.

AI & IT

• Use ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI tools to improve workflows, automate repetitive tasks, troubleshoot issues, and support business operations
• Identify opportunities to apply AI to e-commerce, reporting, content, customer support, and internal processes
• Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, accounts, access, and common technical issues
• Assist with system setup, troubleshooting, integrations, and technical documentation
