Job summary

Metrobank is seeking an IT Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and quality. You will work with Product Owners, technical teams, and stakeholders, guiding project planning, risk mitigation, and execution using Agile/Waterfall.

As Scrum Master, you’ll remove roadblocks and promote team effectiveness while meeting IT governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing IT projects, preferably in banking/financial services or insurance.
• Proven delivery of medium to large-scale technology projects using Agile and/or Waterfall.
• Strong knowledge of PM, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Relevant project management certifications (PMP, Scrum Master, PRINCE2) are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects aligning with goals, scope, budget, and timelines.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and serve as Scrum Master to boost team productivity.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and technical teams to define priorities and plans.
• Monitor progress, risks, issues, dependencies; escalate when needed.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure successful delivery.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, status reports, and updates for stakeholders.
• Support backlog prioritization, release planning, and demand management.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, regulatory requirements, and standards.
• Drive process improvements across project delivery, Agile and software lifecycles.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships and clear communication across teams.
