Job summary

Continental Industry seeks an IT Operations Production Planning and Plant Maintenance Specialist to provide cross-business SAP PP support and consulting. You will work on blueprinting, configuration, and documentation for production planning, and support global PP projects and rollouts.

The role requires strong English, project delivery skills, and willingness to travel worldwide. A hybrid work setup, with opportunities for training and development, is offered.

Qualifications

• University degree in logistics or a technical field.
• Business SAP knowledge including change requests and handling tables/fields.
• Understanding dependencies between SAP modules.
• Experience with SAP in operational business/production planning.

• Plant maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide cross-business area support, configuration, and consulting for SAP PP in production planning.
• Lead SAP PP improvements based on user requirements and document blueprints.
• Support SAP rollouts and handle change requests.
• Globally support SAP projects and PP rollout activities.
• Manage PP incidents and changes with internal or external SAP support.
• Test problem fixes, enhancements, upgrades and new functionalities.
• Promote process standardization in the PP area across locations.
• Create training materials and conduct trainings for local and end users.
• Build Knowledge Network for PP processes worldwide.
• Ensure compliance with company data and reporting standards.
• May lead small project teams during implementations.

We are looking for a new employee in our IT Operations Production Planning and Plant Maintenance team to provide cross-business area support, configuration, and consulting for the SAP PP module, working as a Business Specialist for production planning and related projects.

Main tasks

• Conducts and starts improvements for user requirements, designing of blueprinting, performing configuration, & creating documentation.
• Supports SAP rollouts, and configuration and assists in functional change requests.
• Globally supports the Business in the SAP Projects and PP module rollout projects.
• Manage PP incidents and changes requested by the locations and implement them with internal or external SAP support.
• Perform testing of problem fixes, enhancements, system upgrades, and new functionalities.
• Supports and initiates process standardizations in the Business Area for the PP module.
• Creation of training materials and training for the local key users and end-users.
• Generation/Creation of a Knowledge Network for PP processes within locations all around the globe.
• Understands and applies the group company's methodologies and procedures.
• May lead and coordinate the work of a small team when working on projects.
• Ensure compliance with existing and development of required data and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Logistics or technical university degree
• Business SAP Knowledge, (change requests management, working with tables, fields, etc.)
• Understand the technical dependency between the diverse SAP modules
• Demonstrated SAP experience with the operational business. (Operations)
• Fluent in English, strong communication skills, and project realization
• Occasional traveling worldwide is required
• Ability to work in a global team
• Results orientation, assertiveness, resilience, and strong teaching skills.
• Capacity for analysis of big process interactions and synthesizing information.
• Plant maintenance experience would be a plus - nice to have.
