Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an ISR Systems Technician based in Spain to install, maintain, and troubleshoot airborne ISR mission systems. You will perform pre-mission checks, field troubleshooting, and system validation to ensure operational readiness in demanding environments.

You will administer Windows and Linux, work with RF test equipment, configure TCP/IP networks, and support software loads and firmware updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of related experience
• At least 3 years of experience supporting airborne ISR mission systems in deployed or field environments
• Strong understanding of radar fundamentals (GMTI, MMTI, SAR) and related applications
• Hands-on proficiency with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, network analyzers)
• Strong understanding of RF signal paths, IP-based interfaces, and TCP/IP networking
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering docs
• Experience with Windows and Linux system administration and scripting
• DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 certification beneficial
• International travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and sustain airborne ISR mission systems (EO/IR sensors, radios, mission computers, radar, data links)
• Perform pre-mission checks, field troubleshooting, and validation for operational readiness
• Administer Windows and Linux systems, including scripting and patch management
• Use RF test equipment to isolate faults and validate performance
• Configure TCP/IP networks, routing, VLANs, and secure links
• Read schematics and wiring diagrams to diagnose interfaces
• Schedule and perform software loads and firmware updates per baselines
• Support integration of new hardware/software with engineering
• Provide detailed field reports for root-cause analysis and lifecycle planning
• Communicate capabilities, limitations, and needs to stakeholders
• Travel and work independently in hangar, flightline, and deployed environments
• International travel up to 50% may be required
