Responsibilities

• Monitor the Glass Forming operation and associated equipment.
• Record relevant information in Daily Operations Reports.
• Conduct bottle sampling and inspections.
• Identify, analyze, and correct bottle defects.
• Maintain good bottle quality and monitor key processes.
• Provide feedback to counterpart Cold End (CE) Line Personnel regarding current operation’s condition that affects bottle quality.
• Provide feed forward to Production Services Department (PSD – Job Change) regarding machine, equipment and mold conditions.
• Provide feedback to immediate superior and fellow Line Personnel regarding bottle concerns during his shift or during his time at the line.
• Provide assistance to Production Services Department (PSD – Job Change) on Job Change activities and machine maintenance.
• Monitor and control gob weight and mold temperature.
• Maintain good bottle quality and monitor the condition of shear spray, gob drop, cullet chute, fore hearth temperature and hot end ware reject timing.
• Perform alternate mold maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to the Integrated Management Systems (IMS) of the company.
• Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Glass Forming operation by monitoring fore hearths, feeders, I.S. machines, ware handling units and annealing lehrs.
• Perform swabbing of mold equipment and monitor the alignment of bottle at machine conveyor, cross conveyor and stacker.
• Record in the Glass Forming Daily Operations Reports (GFDOR) all relevant information pertaining to glass forming operation.
• Conduct bottle sampling and inspections.
