Job summary

Mayani is seeking two Irrigation Management Specialists to support planning, implementation, and management of irrigation systems that help farming communities improve productivity, strengthen water resource management, and build resilience.

You will work closely with farmers, cooperatives, LGUs, and other partners; conduct field assessments, train farmers in water management and system maintenance, monitor performance, collect data, and propose practical solutions to boost irrigation efficiency

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of experience in irrigation management or related field operations.
• Proven experience in irrigation systems, field project implementation, and agricultural project management.
• Strong understanding of irrigation practices, water resource management, and agricultural production systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with farmers, cooperatives, LGUs and field partners.
• Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with ability to manage field activities.
• Proficient in data gathering, monitoring and reporting, with ability to work independently and conduct field visits.
