Job summary

IIRR is seeking a Project Manager for its Philippine Program to lead field activities in Southern Luzon. You will supervise field teams, coordinate with LGUs and schools, and ensure delivery of regenerative agriculture, school gardens, livelihoods, and community-based food systems.

Based in a rural municipality, travel to sites is required. Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in project management in development, strong leadership, and strong written and spoken communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Management, Agribusiness, Rural Development, or related fields.
• 5–10 years of relevant field operations or project management experience.
• Experience with LGUs, farmer groups, cooperatives, and community organizations.
• Experience in agriculture, food security, nutrition-sensitive, or livelihoods programs.
• Familiarity with DepEd school feeding and DA programs.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee implementation of approved project work plans and field activities.
• Ensure timely delivery of outputs, targets, and milestones within budgets.
• Supervise field operations related to regenerative agriculture, school gardens, livelihoods, and community-based food systems.
• Coordinate with LGUs, schools, farmer groups, and suppliers to support activities.
• Monitor progress, manage logistics, and ensure safeguarding compliance.
• Prepare field reports and support donor reporting.
