The Inventory Manager/ Data Analyst/Encoder is responsible for accurately recording, updating, and monitoring inventory data to ensure proper stock control. This role supports warehouse and operations by encoding inventory transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in inventory reconciliation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Encode inventory data accurately into the inventory system or spreadsheets
• Record stock movements including receiving, issuance, transfers, and returns
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies, shortages, or damages
• Assist in conducting physical inventory counts and reconciliations
• Prepare inventory reports such as stock balance, variance, and movement reports
• File and maintain inventory documents (delivery receipts, invoices, stock cards)
• Coordinate with warehouse staff, purchasing, and accounting regarding inventory concerns
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with company inventory procedures
• Perform other clerical and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduate of any business-related or computer-related course (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with inventory management for at least 2 years, data encoder, or similar role is an advantage (1-2 years)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Willing to perform inventory counts and clerical work
