Job summary

Handyman Do it Best Philippines is seeking an Inventory Control Officer to safeguard inventory integrity and analyze stock movements. You will partner with key business units to minimize losses and enhance performance across the retail network.

The role involves leading cycle counts, coordinating store and warehouse verifications, and driving data-driven improvements in visibility and reporting accuracy. Fieldwork across stores and warehouses is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration; CPA is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience in Inventory Control, Inventory Audit, Retail Operations, or Supply Chain.
• Strong background in inventory reconciliation, variance analysis, and stock management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP or inventory management systems.
• Willing to conduct fieldwork, including store visits and warehouse inspections.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory movements, variances, and shrinkage trends, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Lead and participate in cycle counts, physical inventories, and stock verification activities across stores and warehouses.
• Analyze inventory data and KPIs to identify risks, improve stock accuracy, and support operational decision-making.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Warehouse teams to strengthen inventory controls and compliance.
• Recommend process and system enhancements that improve inventory visibility, reporting accuracy, and control effectiveness.
