Inventory Management
- Assist in performing cycle counts and inventory audits as needed, and maintain accurate documentation records of inventory levels using manual or computerized systems.
Administrative Tasks / Documentation & Record Keeping
- Preparing Delivery Receipts and other documents.
- Ensure that the delivery receipt matches the shipment details, including the name, address, and the items to be delivered.
- Always check the items listed on the delivery receipt before the warehouseman load the actual items in the truck to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Processing paperwork and data entry related to warehouse operations.
- Communicating with other warehouse staff, management, and customers.
- Manage and organize warehouse paperwork and files.
- Answer phones, emails, and address inquiries from staff, suppliers, and clients.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating warehouse activities.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse transactions, including receipts, shipments, and inventory adjustments.
- Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience Level: Previous warehouse experience preferred, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in inventory software, strong organizational skills, and ability to operate forklifts.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, dependable, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
