Job summary

QBE Insurance Group seeks an Internal Controls Assurance professional to review and test control effectiveness across the finance environment. The role reports to a Team Lead with a dotted line to the Head of Group Finance Operation Risk & Assurance.

You will monitor testing universe, ensure adherence to assurance methodology, and collaborate with Divisional accounting teams to remediate deficiencies. Based in Manila or Cebu, you will support regulatory requirements and audit requests.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting or related field.
• Professional certifications preferred (CPA/CIA/CIAI).
• Understanding of internal auditing standards and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Undertake control audits across the Global QBE Finance environment.
• Assist with standardizing process and control documentation.
• Assess operating effectiveness of controls and challenge accounting teams to remediate deficiencies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and manage audit requests and inquiries.
• Deliver reviews on time and within budget.
