Position Summary
The OJT Intern will support Industrial Engineering and Technical Training activities within ELITE operations. The role provides hands‑on exposure to process improvement, training support, and compliance initiatives such as 5S workplace organization and ESD control. Interns willassistin daily operations while developing technical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills aligned with their field of study.
Key Responsibilities
- Assistin time studies, process mapping, and workflow analysis toidentifyimprovement opportunities
- Support data gathering, analysis, and reporting for productivity, efficiency, and quality initiatives
- Participate in continuous improvement projects (Lean, waste reduction, cycle time improvement)
- Help document standard work instructions and process updates
2. Technical Training Support
- Assist Technical Trainers in conducting basic orientation and skills training sessions
- Support preparation of training materials, presentations, and evaluation tools
- Helpmonitortrainee progress and maintain training records
- Provide assistanceduring hands‑on technical training activities (e.g., basic troubleshooting, repair exposure) [GTR-001-01 Rev03 | Excel]
3. 5S Implementation and Sustainability
- Participate in 5S audits, housekeeping, and area improvement activities
- Assistin monitoring compliance and updating visual management tools
- Collaborate with teams to sustain proper workplace standards
4. ESD Compliance Support
- Assistin ensuring adherence to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) control procedures
- Support monitoring of ESD practices (e.g., grounding, wrist straps, workstation setup)
- Participate in ESD awareness activities and documentation checks
- Assistin day‑to‑day ELITE/PCR operations while learning core processes
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and supervisors on assigned tasks
- Maintain documentation and ensure accuracy of reports and records
- Adhereto company policies, confidentiality requirements, and training plans
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program (Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field)
- Has completed at least 2 years of coursework
- Basic knowledge of process improvement, data analysis, or electronics fundamentals
- Willing to learn repair/test processes and operational workflows
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Basic data handling and reporting skills (Excel, charts, etc.)
- Good communicationand teamwork
- Attention to detail and discipline in following procedures
- Willingness to learn andparticipatein continuous improvement initiatives
- Hands‑on exposure to manufacturing/repair operations and test systems
- Experience in Industrial Engineering tools (time study, process mapping, Lean concepts)
- Exposure to technical training delivery and evaluation processes
- Practical application of 5S and ESD standards in a production environment
- Collaboration with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Repair, Training)
