Job summary

Madamba Builders & Trading Corp. is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to develop interior design concepts, space plans, and material palettes for diverse projects in the Philippines.

You will prepare detailed construction drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and schedules, while coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design integrity on site. • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design is required.
• Professional License (PRC) as an Interior Designer is required.
• Proven experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions).
• Expertise in space planning, layout, color schemes, lighting, material selection, custom furniture, and interior installations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under deadlines.
• Willling to conduct regular site visits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the implementation of design plans and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, revisions, specifications, and site reports.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, safety requirements, accessibility standards, and project guidelines.
• Assist in project scheduling and coordinate design deliverables to meet construction deadlines.
• Conduct punch-list inspections and monitor rectification works through project completion.
• Support the project team during turnover, including final inspections, as-built documentation, and close-out requirements.
