FMC Corporation is seeking an Intercompany Accountant for its Global shared services in Taguig, Philippines. Located in BGC, you will handle regional intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and invoicing in SAP, ensuring SOX compliance and accurate financial records.

You will partner with local finance, drive process improvements, and maintain IC ledgers and supporting documentation to deliver timely financial results.

Competenze

• Must have 3–5 years in RTR or Intercompany in a multinational shared services setup.
• Experience with intercompany reconciliations is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and manage workload proactively.

Position Summary

Intercompany accounting activities for FMC Corporation’s Global legal entities. Activities include Monitoring, Maintaining, Creating, Processing, Closing, Reconciling & Tracking of Intercompany transactions in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsible for executing accounting activities in accordance with financial standards and other company policies, SOX and other regulatory requirements.

Responsible for assisting with initiatives to drive standardization, process improvement and optimization across the group.

Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, to deliver financial results through high levels of financial service and business partnering.

Location: BGC, Taguig City, Philippines

The Role

• Responsible for the timely completion of Regional (EMEA / NAM / LATAM / APAC) Intercompany accounting activities.
• Execute legal entity IC accounting activities such as but not limited to Monitoring, Maintaining, Creating, Processing, Closing, Reconciling & Tracking of IC transaction in a timely and accurate manner
• Investigate intercompany OOB and resolve differences
• Confirmation of IC balances
• Preparation of IC reconciliations, including aged analysis, and uploading into Blackline
• Raising and settlement of IC invoices in line with all applicable statutory requirements: accounting, tax, and treasury
• Complete adjustments, accruals, and other types of journal entries in accordance with the financial standards and controls framework
• Assist in the execution of specific controls within accounting processes and other general accounting activities
• Help to maintain Intercompany Billing Tool and IC ledgers within SAP, providing accurate and consistent records of assets, liabilities, and transactions
• Partner with local finance on a monthly / quarterly basis
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, local GAAP, Tax accounting rules along with SOX where applicable
• Participate in strategic continuous improvement initiatives in the organization, achieving identified goals (financial, process or talent)
• Promptly respond to information requests from internal and external stakeholders
• Comply with Global COE and business unit service delivery guidelines
• Maintain & update KPI’s
• Maintain & safeguard required documentation

The Candidate

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification is required.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Record-to-Report (RTR) or Intercompany within a multinational global shared services environment is required.
• Experience working with SAP ERP systems.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA) is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with intercompany reconciliations is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage workload proactively and escalated issues, concerns, or process inefficiencies to management when required.
• Strong track record of meeting deadlines and proactively communicating risks that may impact timelines.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to build effective working relationships within and outside the Intercompany (IC) team.
