Job summary

DXC Technology in the Philippines seeks a senior software engineer to support a team of engineers, provide guidance, and contribute to software project delivery. The role emphasizes mentorship, project planning, risk mitigation, and adherence to development best practices.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, define requirements, and participate in technology assessments while fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and collaboration within DXC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Typically 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role.
• Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies.
• Strong programming and debugging skills.
• Some prior experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a leadership role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
