Job summary

Insular Life Assurance Co., Ltd. is seeking an Insurance Solutions Consultant (ISC) to drive bancassurance sales across multiple branches in Tacloban, Tagbilaran, Iloilo, Bacolod, Dumaguete, Puerto Princesa, Legazpi, Naga, and NCR.

The role engages branch personnel and Relationship Managers, conducts financial planning interviews, and closes sales while ensuring compliance with Market Conduct Guidelines. Reports to the Business Development Manager and Bancassurance Partnership Head.

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years in insurance, bancassurance, or financial services.
• A commendable sales performance in Financial Services or Wealth Management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Engages and activates Branch personnel to identify prospective insurance clients
• Undertakes financial planning interviews using a structured presentation process.
• Closes insurance sales from bank client segments

Opportunities are currently available in Tacloban, Tagbilaran, Iloilo, Bacolod, Dumaguete, Puerto Princesa, Legazpi, Naga, NCR (BGC, Binondo, Manila)

REPORTS TO:

• Business Development Manager (InLife)
• Bancassurance Partnership Head (InLife)

MAIN PURPOSE:

Responsible for achieving the insurance sales targets of assigned UnionBank branches and Relationship Managers by driving business generation, branch activation,and sustaining seller productivity.The role converts Bancassurance referrals to sales, strengthens engagement with bank partners, and implements prescribed programs to grow and sustain Bancassurance business, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

SALES GENERATION

• Engages and activates Branch personnel to identify prospective insurance clients
• Undertakes financial planning interviews using a structured presentation process.
• Closes insurance sales from the various customer segments of the bank
• Ensures achievement of monthly sales goals – individual contributor and team targets.
• Analyzes, prepares adhoc reports and presents findings to superiors during performance reviews
• Ensures that sales processis executed in accordance with laws and company policies stated in Market Conduct Guidelines

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

• Actively source/generates new referrals/leads from branch personnel and Relationship Managers
• Provides after-sales services
• Maintains confidentiality and accuracy of client’s details
• Monitors market development and economic trends within industry, and how these impact clients’ portfolio.
• Provides feedback on products

ADMINISTRATIVE ROLE

• Compiles production and ensures compliance with activity reports
• Attends to all administrative functions associated with the job, including completion of application forms and attends to underwriting requirements
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the Sales Heads or Distribution Head, such as attendance and execution of client events, etc.

KEY CUSTOMERS

Internal Customers:

• Insular Life Bancassurance Partners and Head Office

External Customers:

• Branch Head/Sales Heads
• UB Relationship Managers

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years in insurance, bancassurance, or financial services.
• A commendable sales performance specializing in Financial Services (Insurance, Unit Trust, Securities, Investment, etc)or Wealth Management/Financial Planning services to mass market and/or HNI clients is an advantage.
