Job summary

EY is seeking a senior Quality Engineering Leader in Manila to drive QA strategy, governance, and automation across multiple projects. You will mentor distributed QA teams, embed quality in the SDLC, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.

The role emphasizes Lead QA transformation, shift-left testing, and adopting AI-assisted testing and intelligent automation to improve efficiency and coverage.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of software testing experience with a focus on automation.
• Proven experience leading QA teams across multiple projects.
• Strong experience with Selenium, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, and JUnit.
• Programming proficiency in Java, Python, or C#.
• CI/CD and DevOps practices in modern delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA teams across multiple projects, providing coaching and career development.
• Define and execute the Quality Engineering strategy aligned with business objectives and client expectations.
• Establish testing best practices, standards, governance, and continuous improvement across engagements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, developers, architects, and operations to embed quality in the SDLC.
• Oversee test planning, estimation, resource allocation, risk management, and quality reporting.
• Oversee requirement traceability, test coverage, and functional validation across business processes.
• Drive defect management governance, root cause analysis, and closure effectiveness.
• Ensure test data management and validation across integrated apps and APIs.
