Job summary

Civicom Pacific Corp. is seeking an Auth specialist/Patient Care Coordinator to support a U.S. physical therapy client.

You’ll verify insurance eligibility, obtain authorizations, schedule appointments, and assist with routine medical admin tasks, including greeting patients via video. Ideal candidates have BPO customer service experience, U.S. insurance knowledge, CPT/ICD familiarity, EMR access, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in BPO customer service with US insurance verification.
• Knowledge of medical billing, CPT/ICD codes, and pre-authorization processes.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience in medical admin or PT-related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process insurance authorizations accurately and timely.
• Contact insurance providers to obtain approvals and required documentation.
• Retrieve and upload EMR notes or related medical documentation.
• Enter and file documents into the EMR system.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance when handling patient information.
• Greet patients via video call.
• Schedule appointments based on treatment plans.
• Process and collect payments.
