Job summary

Staffing For Doctors is seeking a Surgical & Clinical Care Coordinator with a clinical background in Nursing, Physical Therapy, or Podiatry. You will bridge clinical knowledge with revenue cycle tasks, reading orders, selecting CPT codes, securing prior authorizations, and coordinating end-to-end patient scheduling.

You will translate doctor orders into authorized, scheduled procedures and care plans, handling CPT/ICD-10 navigation, authorizations inquiries, and patient guidance through

Qualifications

• Formal education or background in Nursing (RN/LPN/BSN), Physical Therapy (PT/PTA), or Podiatry.
• Ability to read physician orders, identify CPT codes, and align them with payer authorization rules.
• Experience coordinating surgical scheduling, pre-testing requirements, and care navigation.
• Strong background securing prior authorizations across various insurers.
• Excellent English communication for coordinating with insurers, providers, and patients.

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders for surgical procedures, diagnostic tests, therapy sessions, or clinical services.
• Validate CPT/HCPCS codes and ICD-10 diagnoses before submission to ensure correct coding.
• Initiate, track, and secure insurance prior authorizations per CPT codes and guidelines.
• Contact patients to schedule procedures, pre-operative testing, and follow-ups after authorizations.
• Coordinate surgery times, facility calendars, and physician schedules.
