Job summary

goFLUENT is hiring a multimedia designer to conceptualize, produce, and edit language teaching videos aligned with project requirements. You will create, format, and organize multimedia assets to enhance learning, while applying AI tools to optimize batch processing and quality control.

You will collaborate with Instructional Designers and stakeholders, sharing updates, gathering feedback, and solving challenges in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid onsite/remote work is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Visual Communication / Multimedia Design.
• Proven experience in producing visually compelling, instructional content.

What You’ll Do

• apply instructional design principles to conceptualize, produce, and edit language teaching videos that are aligned with project and business requirements;
• produce, edit, format, and organize multimedia assets (images, graphics, videos, audio files) that enhance learning while ensuring strict adherence to project and business requirements;
• leverage AI-powered tools and automated macros to optimize batch processing and maintain high-quality output;
• provide technical support, troubleshooting, and file fixes for all multimedia assets;
• collaborate closely with Instructional Designers, managers, and other stakeholders to gather and share information, actively contribute to the instructional design process, provide regular project updates, and solve project challenges;
• actively explore new tools and EdTech trends to ensure multimedia assets remain competitive and innovative;
• perform other multimedia duties aligned with the team's evolving priorities.

What You’ll Need

• strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work well both independently and in a team;
• a college degree (those with a degree in Visual Communication, Multimedia Arts, Multimedia Design, or the equivalent, will be prioritized);
• expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects) and other graphic design applications;
• experience in multimedia production, with a portfolio that showcases your ability to produce visually compelling, instructionally effective content;
• keen attention to detail with the ability to follow complex instructions and apply feedback effectively;
• strong research skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving that enable you to apply instructional design principles to multimedia while balancing creative choices with business objectives;
• a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous professional improvement;
• a positive, can-do attitude to tackle routine tasks, adapt when priorities shift, and remain composed and efficient in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in the following is not required but is a PLUS:

• generative AI;
• language teaching;
• workflow automation tools;
• middle or high school educational settings.
