Job summary

Bluehost is seeking an Instructional Designer to develop and enhance our learning curriculum. They will create engaging instructor-led training and e-learning materials that support our technical products and programs.

Collaborating with business partners, SMEs, and Learning and Employee Success teams, the designer will assess training needs of customer-facing teams. The role involves managing projects, uploading content to Workday Learning, and producing multimedia content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree desirable.
• 1-2 years of Instructional Design and professional training experience required.
• Strong written communication; comfortable presenting to large groups online.
• Experience with eLearning design using Camtasia, Articulate 360, Storyline/Rise, Powtoon, Canva.
• Experience managing content in an LMS (Workday preferred).
• Knowledge of instructional design, learning methodologies, and adult learning principles.
• Ability to consult with multiple departments and learn quickly about technical domains.

Responsibilities

• Identify learning needs with business partners and design engaging course materials.
• Create instructor-led training and e-learning modules (classroom, online, videos).
• Manage instructional design projects from start to finish.
• Upload and manage content in Workday Learning LMS.
• Facilitate multimedia content creation (video/audio).
• Revise training materials for updates and new processes.
• Develop assessment processes to measure training effectiveness and knowledge retention.
• Implement knowledge management and communication strategies for training materials.
• Coordinate material needs with course facilitators and train-the-trainer sessions.
