Sutherland is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to craft learner-centered training that enhances employee performance across our global workforce. You will design instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, and blended programs using ADDIE and SAM, develop curricula, storyboards, assessments, and job aids while collaborating with leaders and subject matter experts.

Proficiency with Articulate Storyline and Captivate, LMS/SCORM familiarity, and a focus on accessible, outcomes-driven learning

• Experience in Instructional Design and related fields.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and modern instructional design methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
• Experience creating digital learning assets, assessments, simulations, and multimedia-based content.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), SCORM standards, and learning technologies.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to improve learning outcomes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and results-oriented environment.

• Develop compelling learning journeys, curriculum maps, storyboards, assessments, job aids, and learner resources.
• Create interactive eLearning modules using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and other digital learning platforms.
• Transform complex information into clear, engaging, and results-driven learning experiences.
• Design learning content that supports operational excellence, leadership development, compliance, and customer experience initiatives.
• Measure learning effectiveness through assessments, feedback, performance metrics, and business impact analysis.
• Continuously improve content based on learner insights, emerging trends, and stakeholder feedback.
• Support Learning Management System (LMS) integration, content deployment, and maintenance.
• Ensure all learning materials align with branding, adult learning principles, and accessibility standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality outputs within timeline expectations.

What You'll Do

As an Instructional Designer, you'll play a critical role in elevating employee performance by designing modern, learner-centric training solutions that deliver measurable business results.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Curriculum Development, Training Design, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and modern instructional design methodologies.

• Experience leveraging learning analytics, learner engagement data, and performance dashboards.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive learning design practices.
• Exposure to AI-enabled learning tools and emerging digital learning technologies.
