Job summary

KONE is seeking an on-site installer to handle elevator and escalator equipment installation, coordinating with customers and managing the installation environment. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely completion following KONE installation methods.

Ideal candidates possess basic electrical and mechanical skills, relevant education, and elevator industry training, with ability to read arrangement drawings and comply with safety and environmental rules.

Qualifications

• Entry-level requirements include basic electrical and mechanical skills.
• Completed university/college qualification is required.
• Elevator industry training program is required.
• Fluent in installation methods.
• Understanding arrangement drawings.
• Knowledge of quality and safety rules and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• On-site installation of elevator and escalator equipment.
• Manage the installation environment and on-site activities.
• Maintain on-site communication with the customer for day-to-day installation and logistics.
• Report installation progress to the supervisor and ensure safety and quality.
• Report shortages or damage and arrange replacements promptly.
• Keep installation tooling safe and in good condition.
• Ensure secure storage and handling of delivered equipment.
• Coordinate with builders to prevent interruptions to installation work.
• Receive, check and store materials.
• Execute installation according to method instructions and schedule.
• Submit timekeeping, quality feedback forms and warranty claims.
• Provide feedback to the supply line for product improvement.
