A self-starter with a strong eye for design and storytelling will plan, schedule, and publish content weekly, staying ahead of the calendar and crafting captions that match the brand voice while helping grow the audience.

Qualifications

Job Summary:

A brand-new Instagram account is waiting for its creative voice, and a creative, detail-oriented Instagram Social Media Manager will build and launch the presence from the ground up. You will develop a fresh, cohesive visual aesthetic and turn a large library of raw photos and videos into polished posts, stories, and reels. A self-starter with a strong eye for design and storytelling, who can also keep content planned and scheduled ahead of time, is the ideal fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and roll out a cohesive, eye-catching visual aesthetic for a newly created Instagram account
• Turn raw photos and videos into engaging Instagram posts, stories, and reels
• Create a launch strategy, including an introductory profile post and a first-post concept that sets the tone
• Plan, schedule, and publish content weekly, staying at least one week ahead of the content calendar
• Repurpose third-party and partner social media content into on-brand posts
• Publish time-sensitive updates and promotions quickly when requested
• Write captions and profile copy that match the brand's voice
• Support audience growth through community engagement and content recommendations
• Meet weekly to review the upcoming content plan and priorities
• Assist with a simple landing page or inquiry form as the role grows

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience managing and growing Instagram accounts (posts, stories, and reels)
• Strong skills in photo and video editing with tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar
• Excellent eye for aesthetics, layout, color, and brand consistency
• Experience with content scheduling tools
• Strong caption writing and storytelling ability
• Sharp‑eyed, deadline‑conscious, and reliable without supervision
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience creating travel or lifestyle content
• Basic landing page or form‑building experience (e.g., Canva, Carrd, Wix, or similar)
• Basic logo or branding design skills
• Familiarity with Instagram analytics and growth strategies
• Experience with general administrative tasks such as invoicing 
• Keeps several projects organized and moving , even when deadlines bunch up
