Job summary

Bureau Veritas is seeking an Inspector – Coating & Painting to perform inspection of coating, painting, insulation, and corrosion protection on pipeline projects. You will monitor surface preparation, blasting, coating application, and insulation installation works.

Responsibilities include conducting coating inspections (DFT, WFT, adhesion, holiday tests), verifying 3LPE coating systems, reviewing QA/QC docs, and ensuring compliance with project specs and international standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with extensive QA/QC in 3LPE, coating, painting and insulation.
• ≥10 years (bachelors) or ≥12 years (diploma) of industrial QA/QC in Oil & Gas coating and insulation.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel for international projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Diploma Holders: Minimum 12 years of industrial QA/QC experience in 3LPE Coating Systems, Coating, Painting, and Insulation.
• Bachelors Degree Holders: Minimum 10 years of industrial QA/QC experience in Coating, Painting, and Insulation within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Valid BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2 Coating Inspector Certification.
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation, coating application, corrosion protection, insulation systems, and pipeline coating inspections.
• Experience with Oil & Gas, refinery, petrochemical, or pipeline projects is preferred.
• Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for international project assignments.
