Job summary

MiraMed Philippines Group is seeking a Team Leader to oversee a group of medical coders, auditors, trainers or customer service agents under supervision. You will organize, develop, monitor and document daily activities, manage client relationships and support team development.

The role emphasizes staff planning, performance reviews, reporting quality, and adherence to Philippine Labor Code. Strong MS Office skills and experience in inpatient coding certification are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as an Inpatient Medical Coding Team Leader.
• Inpatient Coding Certification CPC/CIC/CCA/CCS-P/CCS is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in medical records or allied field.
• Very good organizational skills and attention to detail; able to motivate team.
• Results-driven and goal-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operational management of the team and assign work orders.
• Allocate resources to meet reporting targets.
• Respond to client queries with effective solutions and maintain relationships.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide guidance to staff.
• Prepare month-end and other management reports.
• Manage staff leave and holiday schedules to maintain coverage.
