Job summary

Cotiviti Philippines Inc is seeking a qualified nurse coder for our Manila office. The role requires CIC or CCS certification with 1–2 years of inpatient coding experience, ideally including DRG auditing or validation.

Candidates should have familiarity with US healthcare coding and billing, and CMS/Medicaid guidelines. The position is onsite in Manila, Pasig, offering life insurance and HMO coverage from Day 1.

Qualifications

• Must have nursing registration (CIC or CCS).
• 1–2 years inpatient coding experience, preferably with DRG auditing/validation.
• Experience in US healthcare, medical coding, medical billing, and RCM health plan operations preferred.
• Knowledge of CMS, Medicaid regulations, ICD-10 CM & DRG expertise.
• General knowledge of medical procedures, conditions, and illnesses.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Registered nurse with CIC or CCS certification
• At least 1–2 years of inpatient coding experience, preferably with exposure to DRG auditing or validation
• Experience in US Healthcare, medical coding, medical billing, RCM health plan operations strongly preferred
• Possesses knowledge of healthcare claims payment policy and processing specifically, CMS, Medicaid regulations, ICD-10 CM & DRG Expert, etc
• Has general knowledge of medical procedures, conditions, illnesses, and
• Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think logically and process sequentially with a high level of detailed accuracy and efficiency
• Has excellent personal computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Must be willing to work onsite
