Job summary

Rua Seguridad Corp. seeks a Licensed Chemical Engineer to lead the innovation pipeline for construction chemicals and infrastructure products.

You will translate market needs into viable product concepts, oversee formulation, testing, and scale-up, and collaborate across sales, manufacturing, and customers to drive successful launches. Responsibilities include designing experimental programs, benchmarking competitors, evaluating emerging materials, and maintaining technical documentation for

Qualifications

Must be a Licensed Chemical Engineer.
Technical knowledge of road construction chemicals and processes, particularly in bitumen, thermoplastic paint, and asphalt products.
Experience in product development from concept through testing, scale-up, and commercialization.
Strong technical capability in formulation, experimental design, testing, and root cause analysis.
Ability to translate customer needs and market insights into viable product solutions.
Experience in working with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, manufacturing, and customers).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution mindset with commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

Identify market opportunities and translate customer needs into new product concepts.
Lead the formulation, development, testing, and validation of construction chemical and infrastructure products.
Design and execute experimental programs, product trials, and performance evaluations.
Conduct competitive benchmarking and identify product differentiation opportunities.
Evaluate emerging materials, technologies, and innovation trends for business application.
Support product scale-up from laboratory development to pilot and commercial production.
Collaborate with sales, operations, manufacturing, and customers to ensure successful product launches.
Develop field-ready technical solutions and provide technical support during customer engagements.
Develop and maintain proprietary formulations, technical documentation, and institutional knowledge.
Build relationships with suppliers and technology partners to identify new materials and innovations.
