Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and operate industrial inkjet/date coder machines (Hitachi and Linx).
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure printers are in good working condition.
• Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns of inkjet/date coding equipment to minimize production downtime.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings for proper coding, print quality, and alignment.
• Manage ink and solvent usage, ensuring optimal performance and minimal waste.
• Document maintenance activities, service reports, and spare parts usage.
• Train operators on proper machine handling and basic troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure codes meet required standards (e.g., legibility, accuracy, placement).
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures during machine handling and servicing.

Qualifications / Requirements

• At least a Technical/Vocational Diploma or equivalent in Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Inkjet Technician or similar role in manufacturing/production.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Hitachi and Linx date coder machines.
• Skills in troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules and technical manuals.
• Ability to read and interpret machine drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work in shifting schedules and under pressure.
