Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Systems & Network Engineer to support local projects, focusing on design, deployment, and optimization of scalable, automated infrastructures. You will work with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes to automate, secure, and optimize cloud and on‑prem environments.

You’ll leverage tools like Zarf for secure deployments and apply CIS benchmarks to ensure hardening and compliance across international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Experience in hybrid on‑premise and cloud infrastructures.
• Strong knowledge of systems and network administration, virtualization, and containers.
• Automation experience with Bash and Python; system hardening.

About The Rol

We are looking for a Systems & Network Engineer to support projects for local clients, focusing on the design, deployment, and optimization of scalable, automated infrastructures.

You will work with technologies such as Terraform (IaC), Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes, contributing to the automation, reliability, and performance of cloud and virtualized environments. The role involves building and maintaining infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting containerized workloads.

You will also leverage tools like Zarf for secure and air-gapped deployments, and apply CIS benchmark policies to ensure system hardening and compliance with security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Administration, automation, and hardening of Linux and Windows systems.
• Advanced Bash scripting and Python for process automation.
• Develop and maintain security support materials (e.g., models, templates, standards, and procedures) to enhance security capabilities in projects and operations.
• Collaborate with other security teams and professionals to share best practices and knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in IT, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Experience in IT environments (OT/industrial security is a plus) and hybrid infrastructures (on-premise & cloud)
• Strong knowledge of systems and network administration, virtualization, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in automation, scripting, and system hardening (Linux/Windows, Bash, Python)
• Familiarity with security tools and practices (monitoring, NGFW, SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, risk assessment)
• High level of English (mandatory, international projects)
