Job summary

QBE Group Shared Services Centre in Manila, Philippines, seeks an IT infrastructure specialist to build, administer, and maintain Unified Communications infrastructure in alignment with QBE policies. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure seamless integration, delivery, and operation of services.

The role requires a tertiary degree or equivalent, experience with ITIL service management, and familiarity with regulated industries.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience with ITIL service management is preferred.
• Experience in regulated industries, ideally finance services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security, confidentiality and integrity of information systems through compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
• Take ownership of problems and proactively resolve technical issues, ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
• Design, implement and operate IT infrastructure technologies and solutions.
• Create system designs to meet defined business needs, working with stakeholders to translate business problems into technical designs.
• Understand and identify problems, analyse and provide appropriate solutions.
• Maintain focus on the whole life of service delivery, ensuring IT products and vendors deliver services.
• Demonstrate lateral thinking to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across various technology capabilities.
• Visualise ideal user services and explore different design approaches.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver outstanding customer experiences through technical expertise.
• Identify and assess risks within your subject matter area, lead risk-related dialogue as the SME for that domain, and support stakeholders in making informed, risk-based decisions. Mitigate risks in delivery while keeping to agreed plan and timeframes.
