Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of relevant experience in analytical or market research.
• Strong background in Financial Services, M&A, Capital Markets, Banking, Private Equity or strategy consulting.
• Multinational exposure in global corporate environments.

Responsibilities

• Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with C-suite, Partners, and Directors to scope and deliver complex market research initiatives.
• Strategic Research: Conduct client analyses, benchmarking, and sector/country trend evaluations across global economies.
• Project leadership: Independently manage research projects from scoping to delivery and present executive-ready findings.
• Data Analysis & Visualization: Evaluate large datasets to extract trends and craft executive presentations in Excel/PowerPoint templates.
• GenAI-driven insights: Leverage GenAI tools to accelerate data synthesis and ensure accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Research

• Partner directly with C-suite stakeholders, Partners, and Directors to scope, refine, and deliver complex, bespoke market research initiatives.
• Conduct in-depth client analysis, competitive benchmarking, and sector/country market trend evaluations across global economies.
• Independently manage research projects from scoping to delivery, presenting synthesized findings in executive-ready formats.

Data Analysis, Visualization & Insight Delivery

• Evaluate large financial and market datasets to extract meaningful trends, stories, and strategic implications.
• Build advanced data models, financial reports, and executive presentations utilizing expert-level Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint templates.
• Leverage Generative AI tools to accelerate data synthesis, validate information accuracy, and enhance analytical efficiency.

Knowledge Management & Team Leadership

• Learn, adopt, and leverage specialized global financial databases and workflow tools quickly.
• Act as a functional mentor to junior team analysts, providing guidance on analytical frameworks, visualization best practices, and data accuracy.

Requirements

Experience & Background

• Tenure: 6 to 8+ years of relevant experience in an analytical or market research role.
• Industry Focus: Strong background in Financial Services, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Capital Markets, Banking, Private Equity, or top-tier Professional Services/Strategy Consulting.
• Multinational Exposure: Proven success operating in global, multi-stakeholder corporate environments.

Technical & Analytical Competencies

• Advanced Excel Mastery: Expert proficiency in complex formulas, macros, nested logic, dynamic pivot tables, and financial dataset manipulation.
• Data Storytelling & Design: Superior ability to craft visual narratives and executive decks (PPT) tailored to C-level audiences.
• Generative AI Integration: Demonstrated ability to integrate modern GenAI applications into daily research, analysis, and validation workflows.
• Preferred Platforms (Nice to Have): Hands-on exposure to global research databases such as Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, PitchBook, Mergermarket, Preqin, or Refinitiv.
