Job summary

MARIPOSA INT’L SERVICES CO. INC seeks an experienced maintenance technician to operate and monitor industrial equipment, inspect for faults, and perform preventive maintenance in our Philippines facilities.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to read technical drawings and schematics. Ideal candidates have at least 10 years of hands-on experience, a Vocational Diploma or equivalent, and good communication and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of working experience in relevant fields.
• Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
• Technical skills covering machines, equipment, production systems, electrical, mechanical, and basic automation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor industrial equipment to ensure proper performances.
• Inspect machines and equipment for defects, wear, leaks, or other problems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, and replacement of worn parts.
• Repair or replace defective components to restore equipment operation.
• Install and test new machinery and equipment.
• Read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, manuals, and equipment specifications.
• Record maintenance activities, equipment problems, repairs, and inspection results.
• Ability to identify, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and equipment problems.
