Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks an Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer to support a wide range of industrial and process refrigeration equipment across Southeast Asia.

You will deliver field service, maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, overhauls, plant audits, and warranty repairs while helping customers improve reliability, uptime, and operational performance. Travel to onshore/offshore sites as needed; supervise subcontractors; prepare service and commissioning reports; and

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of industrial and process refrigeration systems.
• Hands-on experience with screw, centrifugal, and reciprocating compressors.
• Working knowledge of PLC and microprocessor controls.
• Understanding of ASHRAE standards.
• Solid knowledge of refrigerants and safe handling practices.
• Health and safety requirements in industrial field service environments.
• Proficiency with MS Office; ability to prepare clear technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, commissioning, start-up, optimization, overhaul, troubleshooting, installation, and warranty repair work on industrial refrigeration systems.
• Carry out detailed plant audits and prepare clear reports with observations and recommendations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on site and support closure of service tickets.
• Prepare accurate service and commissioning reports and weekly updates for longer assignments.
• Support customer operations and maintenance teams with practical guidance and on-site training.
• Travel across Southeast Asia to onshore or offshore customer sites as needed.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate activities to meet site and customer expectations.
• Identify opportunities for additional services, parts, and products during field visits.
• Build trusted relationships with customers to strengthen maintenance base and growth.
• Document reports and follow through on audit findings and recommendations.
