Job summary

Magnum Ice Cream Company Philippines is hiring a Multi-skilled Technician (MST) to optimize and maintain equipment in the factory. You will diagnose faults, participate in maintenance strategy development and improve machine reliability in your area.

The role requires electrical, instrumentation and mechanical knowledge, plus PLC/DCS experience. Strong communication, teamwork and a formal engineering background are essential for success in a fast-paced dairy/ice-cream manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation
• Preferably Licensed EE or Certified Plant Mechanic
• Education in at least two of: Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation and Control
• At least 3 years in manufacturing sector
• Strong coaching and communication skills
• Analytical and technical skills

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to improve safety, quality, sustainability and cost targets
• Perform Preventive Maintenance and apply Time Based / Condition Based strategies
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and drives; ensure reliability
• Replace major electrical components and troubleshoot circuits safely
• Establish power distribution systems and electrical control circuits
• Install electrical drive systems and control loops
• Apply instrumentation and control skills
• Understand refrigeration systems, load management and PLC/DCS knowledge
• Manage PLC and SCADA networks; modify programs and fault-find
• Adhere to Process Safety Management and Ammonia refrigeration safety
• Conduct PM activities per maintenance calendar
• Monitor spare parts inventory and submit daily maintenance reports
• Document maintenance standards of equipment
