Job summary

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Risk Management Services in the Philippines (Taguig) seeks an Associate Analyst/Analyst to support independence and risk management for audit clients. You will evaluate engagement risks and help mitigate them under EY policies.

The role requires strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills, with 0–1 year in related roles. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business is expected. International client exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
• 0–1 year in Research Analyst or Finance roles, Secondary Research, or similar functions.
• Exposure to international client interactions (preferred).
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Understanding of financial instruments such as shares, mutual funds, and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research using systematic and intuitive secondary research techniques.
• Analyze the research findings, draw inferences and conclusions in response to the research requirement.
• Understands key requirements of firm and regulators’ risk management rules and policies.
• Uses analytical and project management methodology and tools.
• Completes all assigned projects/tasks in line with the standard operating procedures.
• Ensures completeness, accuracy and appropriateness of all tasks assigned.
• Facilitates and drives the process to completion by timely following up on requests from engagement teams.
• Plans and organizes own work and keeps the project managers informed of status.
• Performs a self-review of the results prior to submitting to the project managers.
• Flags issues/potential challenges to the project managers at an appropriate time.
