Job summary

John Clements Consultants, Inc. in Metro Manila seeks a Middle Office Analyst to support investment banking operations, including income, corporate actions, and fund accounting across fixed income and equity securities.

You will process daily income, validate accruals, reconcile cash/stock breaks, and ensure deliverables meet SLA. Strong Excel, Power BI, data analysis, and client-service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of experience in Investment Banking Middle Office / Capital markets/ Fund Accounting with Income & Corporate Action processing.
• Experience with Middle Office operations, Income & Corporate Action processes, and Fund Accounting in Investment Banking or Asset Management Companies is preferred.
• Understanding of Investment Manager and Custody business is a plus.
• Sound knowledge of Capital markets and trade flow; knowledge on Fixed Income products and Dividends processing.
• Good knowledge of upstream and downstream processes – Middle Office, Custody.
• Strong understanding of risk and control related to Custody, Income and Corporate Action processing.
• Hands on experience using Bloomberg Terminal for corporate actions and accrual verification.
• Good domain skills in Fund Accounting especially accruals and amortization calculation, NAV calculation.
• Good domain skills in Middle Office / Custody operations around income and corporate action processing.
• Clear understanding of manual calculation of Interest Income and Dividend entitlements and tax implications.
• Comprehensive knowledge on research & resolution of recon breaks (trade, corporate action, etc.).
• Ability to identify and report process risks in recon processes.
• Exposure to data analysis roles for large data sets; AI/Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Sound understanding of risk excellence measures; Robotics & BPM familiarity.
• Good interpersonal, communication and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily income processing and validation for Fixed Income and Equity securities.

• Prepare MIS reports; data mining and analysis using Excel/Power BI.
• Maintain process controls and ensure ownership of delivery.

What you will be responsible for

• Candidate should be able to identify & report the process risks in the recon process

• Exposure to Data Analysis/ Data Scientist roles for work on large data sets would be preferred.

• AI and Lean/Six sigma certification will be a plus.

• Sound understanding of Risk excellence measures within the organization.

• Understanding on Robotics & BPM.

• Good interpersonal, communication and people management skills

Work Schedule:

• Work Setup: Hybrid - 4 days onsite, 1 day work from home

• Schedule: Monday to Friday

• Shift: Night Shift - 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM
