Job summary

GCash is seeking an Incident Management Lead to oversee operational and technology risk incidents across the organization. The role ensures incidents are investigated, root causes identified, and action plans implemented to strengthen controls and reduce business risks.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance/economics/statistics/business or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in risk, incident management, controls, or data-related roles in financial services or fintech.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of risk management and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate operational and technology risk incidents reported by business units.
• Coordinate root cause analysis and investigations with stakeholders.
• Support incident investigations, including briefing sessions and war rooms.
• Monitor action plans and ensure timely implementation of corrective measures.
• Prepare incident reports and presentations for senior management and board committees.
• Escalate key risks and potential non-compliance when necessary.
